Background

For over 30 years, Olivari & Associates has been providing quality, personalized financial guidance to local individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations. Olivari & Associates expertise ranges from basic tax management and accounting services to more in-depth services such as audits, financial statements, and financial planning.

William L. Olivari, CPA (retired)

Partners / Shareholders

John S. Olivari, CPA
John Olivari, Partner, has over 42 years of accounting experience including 32 years in public accounting in various specialties and 10 years in health care. He is well versed in financial and compliance audits, individual and small business consulting and tax services, estate planning, and other public accounting services. John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mary Greenlees, Trust & Estate Specialist
Mary Greenlees, Partner, has over 31 years of accounting experience and specializes in individual and small business tax management services, trust and estate planning, litigation support, and many other accounting services. Mary is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a member of the Volusia County Estates and Trust Council.

Johnny Svajko, CPA
Johnny joined the firm in 2005, bringing with him several years of experience in tax and small business accounting. He received a BS in accounting from the University of Central Florida, and a Master of Taxation degree from Florida Atlantic University. Johnny specializes in many areas of tax management including individual, small business and nonprofit organizations, as well as IRS audit representation. Johnny is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), and is a past president of the Volusia County FICPA chapter. Johnny is also an active board member of the Estate Planning Council of the Fun Coast.

Christine Coleman, CPA
Christine joined the firm in 2013. In 2012, the AICPA and FICPA awarded her recipient of the AICPA Minority Scholarship and the FICPA - George E. Shierling Platinum Endowment Scholarship Award in acknowledgement of her scholastic achievements. She graduated from Stetson University s Masters in Accountancy program with a 4.0 and a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance. Coupled with her finance degree and a two-year internship with a large investment advisory firm, she provides a fresh prospective and insight into investment strategy and wealth management.

Professional and Paraprofessional Staff

Christine Lydecker, CPA
Chris joined the firm in 1996. She received her BS and MS from American University. Prior to joining our firm, Chris worked with a national firm in Orlando, Florida. She brings a strong background in individual and small business tax management. Chris is a member of the Florida Institute of Public Accountants.

Beverly Mitchell
Beverly joined the firm in 2001. She brought to the firm over 30 years experience in the banking industry and currently specializes in client accounting, payroll and tax services. Beverly is also very experienced in elder care accounting functions.

Kathleen Shanahan, EA
Kathleen is our newest member joining us in 2020.  She is an “enrolled agent” with the IRS and has years of experience in business and personal tax preparation and accounting.  Kathleen has both a public and private accounting background, including experience with a family auto sales business.  Kathleen is a fantastic new addition to our firm!

Sammi Johnson
Sandra "Sammi" Johnson is a highly skilled and accomplished tax professional with many years of experience. Known for her exceptional knowledge and expertise she has consistently provided valuable tax advice and services to clients across various industries. With a proven track record of delivering accurate and timely tax compliance, Sammi brings a wealth of experience to every project and client engagement.

Administrative and Support Staff

Wanda Lalanne
Wanda has been cheerfully greeting clients since joining our firm in 2006. Wanda also performs multiple office functions including: Answering phones, document collating, and client correspondence in addition to various other duties and assignments to keep our office running smoothly.

Karyn Marlett
Karyn is the newest member of our front office team, bringing cheerful service and confidence from her experience in the banking industry. Karyn helps with scheduling, filing and various coordinating. We are thrilled to have Karyn on board and we know you will be happy with her service too!
